illusion of the bubble

It seems an inherent struggle in the human psyche, the desire to be understood.

It is the underlying impetus of most art, an effort to translate the inner world to the outer world.

A question inside me has arisen, that questions the truth of this desire.

In fact, it questions the truth of the premise of the struggle; the assumption that there is an inside and an outside world.

That you are seperate of the world, is a sublte and pervasive duality that fuels the existance of the ego.

Lets say perhaps you finally achieve the resolution to the struggle, you articulate yourself clearly and alas! The world understands!

Are you not articulating something that already exists in the world? Not just in your bubble?

The only way for something to be understood is that it is in and of the world itself. For the world to understand, it is only ‘understanding’ that which it is. Which in fact it does not need to understand.

Because it can simply be that which it is.

So your act of articulating the world, is that same action - being simply that which it is.

And embodying what that entails.
